ABOUT US
Exeter-Hampton Cooperative is owned by the community members who live here. We are a resident-owned community (ROC). That means together we own the land beneath our homes, control the rent, and make the rules.
In 1998, we formed our cooperative and in 1999, the cooperative purchased the land and community. A democratically elected board of directors oversees the day-to-day business of running Exeter-Hampton Cooperative. Every member household in the community has a say in who sits on that board, how we spend our money, the annual budget, and major expenses and improvements.
